Though not technically an RPG, The Legend of Zelda is one of Nintendo's greatest ongoing epics. It began on the original Nintendo then progressed to the Super Nintendo. A version was also released on the Gameboy. But, the most prominent version of them all has been The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which was released on the Nintendo 64, followed by it's sequel Majora's Mask.

     The name Zelda is somewhat missleading because the main character of all of the games has been a small fairy boy by the name of Link. Zelda is the princess of the land of Hyrule. The plot to all but two of the games has been to resue princess Zelda from the Evil Ganon, A ferocious hoglike beast bent on concouring Hyrule.

     The game blends first person action with RPG elements such as magic, castles, puzzles, and princesses in dispair.
